it is official. i am addicted to scarf-making. next up? headbands 🙂 only that will require a hot glue gun…
materials
1. xl men’s t-shirt, or xxl women’s t-shirt
2. scissors
watch out for your dog!
making the scarf
3. cut hem off bottom of shirt
4. cut shirt into 1-1 1/2 inch strips
5. cut as many strips as possible (until you reach the sleeves of the t-shirt)
{ i typically aim for 13 strips }
6. cut each strip along the seam so you have 13 long strips
7. set end of strips under something in preparation to braid strips
8. braid strips
finished product 🙂
