dress: target, chambray & necklace: nordstrom, bracelet: emi jay hair tie
i think i had this exact shirt in fourth grade.
in fact, i recall having it in both denim and purple denim.
why didn’t i save them?
of course, then i wore chambray with a ribbed tank and blue or black bootcut jeans.
i suppose this means i have now come full circle with my “fashion sense”
(if you want to call it that).
i don’t know about wearing this with a ribbed tank anymore,
but over dresses, t-shirts, and with just about anything else,
yes, please!
i was a bit reluctant to purchase this chambray at nordstrom a few weeks ago because it was $49 (or something equally absurd), and i am on a strict budget right now.
but i suppose it was worth the investment considering i wear it weekly.
it looks great with my leggings and an over-sized white shirt that belonged to my brother.
oh wait… no it actually does not.

time to get back to my cleaning and laundry.
i was trying to figure out what smelled so foul in my laundry basket…
fear not, i identified the source(s).
my clothes and wet towel from camp (which was… ahem… two weeks ago),
along with copious leaves and ten pounds of dirt caked onto the bottom of all my pants.
i cannot wait to wash everything and then scrub my washing machine.
fun fun fun times ahead.
on the plus side, tomorrow is thursday and i have a date with the girlfriends.
see you soon!
xoxo.
