dress: via stitch fix box, hat: target, necklace: urban outfitters, heels: dsw
are you familiar with stitchfix?
i read about it from a few of my favorite bloggers,
and immediately said ‘i have to try this!’
you pay $20 towards your shipment.
after creating a detailed style profile (answering copious
questions on the cuts, colors, prints, types of clothing, sizes, etc.
that you like best), a customized box
containing five items arrives at your doorstep.
you have three days to decide which items you wish to keep.
your $20 deposit goes toward your purchase.
if you purchase all five items, you receive an additional discount.
if something doesn’t work,
simply send it back in your prepaid envelope
and finish checking out online.
then, voila! you are finished.
the above dress was included in my february fix.
it retailed for $68, and with my $20 credit,
i couldn’t afford not to buy it, right?
(note: i was freezing when taking these photos,
but eager to style this dress for spring.
in actuality, i would need a jacket and tights to survive in the dress;
bailey was kept warm when the photos were taken).

it is a fun, simple way to shop without the hassle of going to the store.
i kept one other dress that i received in my february fix.
unfortunately, the blouse, necklace
and third dress were deemed ‘non-essential’
and were sent back;
there’s always next time!
