happy tuesday, everyone!
how was your weekend? thursday and friday were our
mid-winter break at preschool, and with the holiday yesterday,
this teacher enjoyed some (much needed) time off.
i did, however, spend a fair amount of time at work (sans toddlers)
as i moved into a smaller classroom. i last shared a glimpse
into my day job as a montessori preschool teacher here and may have
to take you on a tour of my new space soon!
the furniture has been moved, the work meticulously arranged on
the shelves and the art hung. hopefully the toddlers enjoy
their new space as much as i do!
in need of a new little black dress (LBD)?
i picked up this midi dress at my local target last weekend –
it’s part of the ‘who what wear‘ collection. target periodically collaborates
with different designers to curate an affordable, yet trendy line
that is available both in stores and online. past collaborations have sold
out within hours! ‘who what wear’ however, is actually a popular fashion blog!
this line for target is much more casual (think everyday wear that can
transition from the office to a lunch date with girlfriends)
with lots of linen, chambray, stripes and floral prints.
i tried on several pieces, and while i am a fan of all things striped,
the fit of some of the tops, as well as this adorable asymmetrical dress,
wasn’t great on my body type. the tops were either too fitted or too baggy,
and the dress was surprisingly loose in the chest.
i did bring home the above LBD, and i love the fit and versatility of the dress!
for less than $40, the price simply cannot be beat.
