spring flowers at the beach

one of my favorite parts of blogging (aside from the fashion and writing components) 

is exploring my city! i greatly enjoy finding new places to photograph

the outfits i wear. seattle is a gorgeous place – though i suppose i’m biased as i have lived 

here since i was ten. these photos were taken at discovery park. i cannot 

wait to visit again and spend more time walking around the beach!

spring has made a few appearances in seattle over the past several days. 

the sun comes out for a few hours at a time, and is then quickly replaced
by vast amounts of wind and rain. thankfully i was able to bring out this flower skirt
during some of the sun breaks.

one of my favorite styles for both spring and summer is to tuck a blouse or shirt
into different skirts. it is simple, and you can easily dress your skirts up or
down, depending on the top you pair with it!

i thrifted my gold, rebecca taylor wedges during an online shopping haul from
thredup. i love the ankle strap and bow detail.
though somewhat tricky when navigating the beach, the wedges are
very comfortable. i am eager to style them with other skirts and
dresses in my closet!

if your spring wardrobe is in need of a few new pieces, i cannot recommend
thredup enough. i brought home this polka dot dress and have my eye on
