happy wednesday, everyone!
how was your weekend? i went to happy hour, slept in, babysat, and
attended my sixth (and final) wedding of the summer; while it was a blast, it’s
somewhat of a relief to know that wedding season is complete.
you know me, i love any excuse to dress up, dance, and of course,
eat wedding cake, but attending so many
these past few weeks has taken away from other summer activities
(and blogging, too!). but i promise i am not complaining.
i have a few girlfriends who recently got engaged, and i look forward to
celebrating with them next year!
and now, let’s talk about this outfit –
who doesn’t love polka dots and heart-shaped purses?!
i shared my LWD (little white dress) from sammydress on the blog
last week and am back with another outfit from there today.
i have a slight obsession with polka dots. big or small,
and whether print mixing, or wearing them with my favorite high waisted
skirt or ripped jeans, i go crazy for polka dots. this ruffle-sleeve
blouse is no exception! and for less than $10, you simply cannot beat the price.

to go with the blouse, i chose a high waisted, midi-length, black skirt.
the skirt has a slight sheen to it, which is perfect for looking polished –
it makes the skirt look and feel a bit more dressy. i cannot wait to style
it with knit sweaters and warmer blouses around the holidays.
when placing my order with sammydress, i knew i wanted a new purse.
i couldn’t help but order this heart-shaped crossbody bag. similar to the blouse,
it is very budget-friendly and comes in several fun colors.
sammydress, i will be back for another order soon!
